Wang Huiyao: China reforms immigration rules to attract talents

China Streamlines the application procedures and regulations for the permanent resident cards, encourage highly qualified individuals to move to the country in 2015. Now the China ministry of Public Security total issued 1576 permanent resident cards to foreigners in 2016 as up163% over previous year (600 in 2015). Up to now, China had issued over 10,000 permanent resident cards since the system was launched in 2004.These cards had gone to investors, executives, tech-experts, and individuals who had made contributions to China’s development. What lower thresholds can the Chinese green card application now can be expected? What they can enjoy when they getit? The PIONT Studio invited Dr. Wang Huiyao, the President of the Center for China and Globalization (CCG), to talk about above issues.
